A Snapshot of Our History in Gold and Silver
After operating estate sale companies in California and Arizona since 1986, we have moved a lot of merchandise. We have liquidated a variety, be it coins, bullion, jewelry or scrap for fiduciaries, trust attorneys, probate attorneys and family members across the USA. An important factor in a great working relationship is transparency. That we guarantee. Given these points, our goal; sit down with you and evaluate exactly what it is that you have.
Our service fee is 15 to 20%, depending on volume.
Payout prices are set every day to the worldwide authority of the daily London Fixing. Read on to see how simply we operate. It isn’t a complicated process but it is an exact process. Our promise to you is that we will treat you like family, no less. We are a family run business, no overhead costs to recoup and our goal is to get you the most amount of money on your original investment. Happy customers tell other customers. That is the best form of advertising.
Call for an appointment
Our usual available hours are Monday thru Friday 8 to 5, however, if you need to meet in the evening to accommodate your work schedule, that’s no problem. We are here to serve your needs in your time.
We will meet with you
in the comfort of your own home. You can sit with us as we process your items for a current market value. We test and weigh each item to establish a value. We never bring your valuables to our home or carry cash.
Testing and weighing all items
so that you will know exactly what you have and what your value will be at the refinery. The refinery locks in a price while we are there. After the refinery refines your items they cut a check, and in turn, we write you a check.
What edge do we have to be a professional gold and silver buyer?
It means we have years and years of experience dealing with precious metals. As I have stated, we have been hired and trusted by attorneys, realtors, fiduciaries and families. In our time in this industry we have seen people being taken advantage of. People simply are not knowledgeable about liquidating what they have. We take pride knowing that we offer a fair, honest and transparent business service. It is important to realize, you have every right to be treated fairly and receive the most amount of return on your original investment. This is our goal for you. As professionals we sit down, test, weigh and give you an exact value. The refinery does the rest in making the purchase.
We are living in uncharted waters today.
I can assume that your needs are different than they were in the past. Prices are rising but your income isn’t. Some folks are finding it harder and harder to survive in this out-of-control world of spending . We are learning to maneuver; and we are “getting used to different”. Truth, honesty and accountability are getting harder to find. As I have said, those three words are the basis for our governing values. They have never changed. It is how we approach life, business and our personal relationships.
If you are finding that you need or want to sell your gold and silver items, come aboard. Just give us a call and give us an idea of how we can be of service to you. With fairness and honesty.
You will be teaming up with a professional company with integrity.
Our Owners
A husband and wife team circa 1985. We got married before the dead sea got sick.
Looking back, the last thing we ever thought we would be; gold and silver buyers. It wasn’t in our tool box, but shortly after starting our first estate sale business in the mid 80’s, someone asked us, “can you sell everything in our home?” As we looked at each other we both thought “heck yeah!”. In that industry you really don’t have teachers, as a result you just get better and better as you go. We loved the clients and the customers.
The rapport we established with these fine people was incredible. They certainly made our job fun.
As well as all household items; cars, trucks, motorcycles, motorhomes, boats, sea crates, and jewelry were added at each consecutive sale experience. We have always loved our “job”. We learned to make a home beautiful in order to attract buyers to our sale. It is an art form. And we always had so much fun. There was no end to the mundane, extravagant, elegant, worn down, weird, filthy hoarder homes we entered. We made the best of what we found in order to make the most amount of money for our clients, and for ourselves. It was a win-win.
We did what we had to do…
Finding and displaying clients belongings on tables and getting ready for the sale was the most fun. We found things they didn’t even know that were there. It was exciting to say to the clients, “look what we found!” A real treasure hunt. As an illustration, we found stocks, bonds, jewelry, diamonds, cash, safe deposit keys, insurance papers, wills, trusts and a few other things I can’t mention. We had a great run working all those years. We retired for a couple years while Bobby mended from an injury. We missed it so much, we’re back. Holding estate sales and buying gold and silver.
And then there were all of the hoarder homes…
Those we will never forget. Never. The smell. The mess. The time it took to clean it up. Oh, and the treasures you find in all of the chaos. I should have written a book. I suppose I still could, all I have to do is look at all ten thousand plus pictures that I took and it all comes back to me. When most attorneys or fiduciaries thought it was all trash or dump bound, we saw something different. We were able to retrieved enough merchandise to go to auction that helped offset the cost of cleanup, and those costs were monumental in some cases. It sure has been an interesting journey with Bob “with one ‘o'”. Never a dull moment.
