A little bit about our history and why we are all about building a reputation with integrity
We were married in 1985. At that time Bobby had been buying and selling households of furniture, jewelry and whatever else he could resell, for about 10 years. He was always a highly motivated worker with a work ethic a father usually instills in a child. Graduating into the estate sale market, early in our marriage, kept us quite busy while raising three kids and taking care of our mom’s and bobby’s dad.
Bobbys dad, Jack Brackney, hand made folk art decoys. He was helping his dad in that business when we met. He was also driving off early in the morning before work, looking for “the great deals of the day”. His father had many collections but the one Bobby grasp on to was the knowledge about gold, silver, coins and jewelry.
About building a reputation with integrity; our governing values
Our Owners
A husband and wife team circa 1985. We got married before the dead sea got sick.
Looking back, the last thing we ever thought we would be; gold and silver buyers. It wasn’t in our tool box, but shortly after starting our first estate sale business in the mid 80’s, someone asked us, “can you sell everything in our home?” As we looked at each other we both thought “heck yeah!”. In that industry you really don’t have teachers, as a result, you just get better and better as you go. We loved the clients and the customers.
The rapport we established with these fine people was incredible. They certainly made our job fun.
As well as all household items; cars, trucks, motorcycles, motorhomes, boats, sea crates, and jewelry were added at each consecutive sale experience. The amount of things we have touched, placed, sold and packed for an auction or donation is staggering. We have always loved our “job”. We learned to make a home beautiful in order to attract buyers to our sale. It is an art form. And we always had so much fun. There was no end to the mundane, extravagant, elegant, worn down, weird, and sometimes filthy hoarder homes we entered. We made the best of what we found in order to make the most amount of money for our clients, and for ourselves. It was a win-win.

Integrity
Building a reputation with integrity is a day by day process, always choosing to make the right decisions. It is something you spend your life building or destroying.
Accountability
We do what we say we are going to do. We are accountable to the Lord and we have found, you reap what you sow. Reputation is critical.
