We have been working with gold and silver jewelry, coins and buillon for a long time

If you want, take a minute to peek at our timeline below. In the last 40 plus years we have been hired by fiduciaries, trust and probate attorneys, financial planners, realtors and family members who have needed to liquidate their clients or families assets. We not only liquidated all household items, we needed to liquidate their precious metal items as well. From experience, this is what we have learned.

Let me point out a few things

Estate sale companies commission on sales usually runs  (because we have been one) between 35% to 50%. Auction houses could charge (because we have used them) between 30% to 50% plus a 15% buyers premium charge. That means buyers who resell items won’t be bidding top dollar because they need to make money.  And next, pawn shops (because I worked at one in California for 18 months) pay even less for your gold and silver items.

How it all started

1977-1985

Bob working all by himself, buying and selling anything he could find to earn a living.

A life changing event -- Marriage

1985-2007

Got married, had three children, started RGB Liquidators and started holding estate sales in late 1985.

Sold RGB to move out of state, didn't move. Started Extraordinary Estate Services

2007-2018

Added a few services to meet the needs of the fiduciaries and realtors we worked with. Had a great word of mouth referral business after starting our new business. 

Sold Extraordinary Estate business and moved to Glendale, Arizona

2018-2021

In 2018 we started Brackney’s Estate Sales until we finally retired from the estate sale industry in 2021. We decided to do something a little less harmful to the joints so we started Brackney’s Precious Metals. I believe we are on the work till you die program.
